How Océ CrystalPoint technology works

Solid In -> Océ TonerPearls toner

• Océ TonerPearls toner is solid with no risk of system or air pollution
• Simple laws of gravity ensure fail-proof transportation of  Océ TonerPearls toner inside a system
• Transparent cartridges allow you to see when replacement is required

Tonergel jetting

• Once inside the system, Océ TonerPearls toner is converted into a gel
• Imaging devices move across the media in swaths at high speeds jetting the tonergel onto the media
• Due to the toner's gel state, droplets stay compact even when jetted onto highly absorbent media. 
• The result is crisp print quality without feathering

Solid Out -> Toner crystallization

• A unique crystallization agent controls the time that the toner remains in gel form after jetting onto the media
• Once it bonds to the media, the toner crystallizes resulting in strong adhesion with an even semi-gloss finish. This creates robust, waterfast prints suitable for outdoor or heavy-duty use
